Mushroom Art, Fall Decoration.

This fall my mom and I went on a mushroom hunt. We were searching for hen of the woods mushrooms, a delicious edible. However due to the lack of rain we didn't find many edible mushrooms only a few honey mushrooms and the shrimp ones that I can't remember the name for. We found a lot of beautiful parchment mushroom and cool looking mahogany colored shrooms.  I started collecting some cool looking ones, when my mom mentioned "mushroom art".  The more I thought about it the more I liked the idea.  So we collected many mushrooms and I made this fall arrangement with hot glue and the dried mushrooms.  We also have ideas for mushroom jewelry, still in the works.
